This is a weekend and busy holiday position.

A food runner delivers food to customers, and helps with other tasks: 
    • Deliver food
      Food runners are responsible for quickly and accurately delivering food from the kitchen to customers’ tables. They may also carry additional trays of food to help servers distribute large orders. 

    • Communicate
      Food runners communicate with the kitchen to check on the status of dishes, and with waitstaff to determine their needs. They may also relay special requests or dietary restrictions from the waitstaff to the kitchen. 

  • Set tables
    Food runners may set up tables for incoming customers. 

  • Clean up
    Food runners may help with cleanup duties after service. They may also pre-buss empty glassware, debris, empty bottles, plate ware, and silverware. 

  • Maintain cleanliness
    Food runners may maintain the cleanliness of the expo line and kitchen areas. 

  • Ensure quality
    Food runners may inspect plates to ensure they meet presentation standards, and monitor portion control. 

  • Address customer complaints
    Food runners may serve as a face for the kitchen staff and find solutions to satisfy customers.Â
